In parallel circuits, the electric potential difference across each resistor is the same. ... In a parallel circuit, the voltage drops across each of the branches is the same as the voltage gain in the battery. Thus, the voltage drop is the same across each of these resistors.

Just think about it....A parellel circuit can be ultimately reduced to a simple resistance in series with the other resistances.

This single resistance will use some potential difference-V. Since it is equal to the parallel circuit I talked about earlier it will occupy the same V.

Also, the potential difference between any to points is same so it will be same for parallel connections.
