1.It reduces conflict between different social groups as all of them get equal opportunities in society.
2.It ensures political stability in the country .
3.Suppressing minority by majority or vice versa (rare cases) is against the spirit of democracy which believes in equality between people.
4.Social conflicts between social grps due to no power sharing not only damages the progress of the country but also damages both the minority and majority in the country.
