The preamble is called the preface of Indian Constitution because it contains all the rules and regulation to be abide by and states the objectives of the constitution makers. It states that India is a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic and Republic.

Hello friend

According to me, it is the crux of the Constitution of India. It encompasses all the dreams and goals of the people of India. It describes what kind of society we would like to build in this country. What are those goals that are the most important to our citizens. It seeks to illuminate the dreams and aspirations of all Indians who subscribe to a democratic polity. The order in which in enumerates the goals is also particularly reflective of our priorities as a nation.

We first and foremost wish to secure Justice to all and that to Social Justice (Directive Principles are highly important in this context) is the first goal of Indians. Then only are the economic and political justice. This priority shows that we Indians are aware of the challenges we face and which to tackle first.
