GENERALLY PRESSURE COOKER IS MADE UP OF A METAL WHICH IS A GOOD CONDUCTOR OF HEAT . IF IT HAVE A METAL HANDLE THEN THE PEOPLE CAN EXPERIENCE HEAT AND GET BURNED .

Plastics are not conductor of heat. So the handle isn't heated.Thermosetting plastics are hard and can withstand high temperature without losing austerity.
