Why pressure decreases in runner of reaction turbine?

Hey buddy
The jet created by the nozzle runs the turbine blades. In reaction turbine no nozzle is used. A part of the total available energy is converted to the kinetic energy. Both pressure and velocity changes while the fluid passes the runner through a reaction turbine.
