Why pressure decreases when velocity increases?

So when the area is reduced, since the fluid is incompressible, its density won't change, so velocityhas to increase. Fluid exiting from a nozzle,decrease in Pressure:Now Total energy of each delta element of fluid has to remain constant through out out the flow, hence we have the Bernoulli's principle.
