He helped Prithviraj Chauhan in second battle of Tarain by sending army of 10,000 soldiers to Prithviraj in order to fight against Mohammad Ghori. So he never refused Prithviraj Chauhan to help him against Ghori. It was Prithviraj's foolishness because of which besides having army of 3 lac soldiers he got defeated by Mohammad Ghori.
