Because proton is not an elementary particles like electron..as different protons are also made up of a different combination of 3quark particles.
In total there are 6 quarks (up ,down, charm,strange ,top and bottom) and combination of any three quarks forms the proton.
Although u should also know that in total there are 18 elmetry particles.and proton is not one of them.
