Answer:

Because of the following

Explanation:

TOPIC- "STUDENTS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY PUBG"

‘Too much of anything is bad.’ This is a well-known English proverb. The same applies to PubG. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PubG is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed by a South Korean company called Bluehole. It is often regarded as one of the top games, if not the best, in the world.

But all this greatness comes with a heavy cost. Due to its simplicity and realistic mode of display, many people are becoming addicted to this game, the most common being 18-26 years old youngsters. These people are so engrossed in the game that they forget that there is a world around them. They forget to study, eat, go to school, sleep and deprive themselves of the most basic needs.

People suffering from PubG addiction have a high risk of developing health issues such as chronic migraine, weakened eyesight, obesity, insomnia, heart problems and depression. They lose interest in activities that are needed for a healthy living like social events, exercise, studying, etc. and prefer playing PubG instead. They get angry and upset if someone guides them otherwise. They start neglecting people around them and soon grow socially isolated.

PUBG has also been under scrutiny for being a violent game, yet many children still play this game. During this young age, the human brain is developing and learning. On being exposed to violent games at such a tender age, it can hamper the development of the brain. Excessive violence can trigger aggressive thoughts, emotions and behavior that ultimately affects the mental health of the player. This is why PubG should not be allowed for players under 18 years of age.

Also, the adolescent period is one of the most important periods in one’s life as both emotional and physical development occurs at this stage. We learn new things; things that are important in adulthood. But, addicted PubG gamers throw all of this away. They don’t move from their spot in front of the computer/phone and thus do not learn essential information which school teaches us for future opportunities. Since they do not eat as per their daily requirements, they grow up to be weak adult, both mentally and physically. Their mentality is not normal and they develop various conditions, most of which are life-changing.

As a result, these cases have led to many governments, both central and state, banning PubG. However, this is not an easy feat as pirated versions of the game are all around the web and taking all of them down is almost impossible. But we can try to limit time used for playing PubG or stop playing the game altogether. Spending time with family and friends, pursuing one’s hobbies, staying occupied with work, meditating and working to make your life successful are some ways to get rid of PubG addictions. Always keep remembering this Japanese proverb- ‘Fall seven times, stand up eight.’
