Why pulmonary artery and pulmonary vein exceptional from other arteries and veins respectively?

Arteries carry blood low in oxygen from the right side of the heart to the lungs to be oxygenated. Blood high in oxygen enters the left side of the heart in the pulmonary vein and is pumped into the systemic circuit. The pulmonary arteries and veins are unique in the type of blood they carry.

pulmonary artery carry deoxygenated blood from heart to lungs for oxygenation while normal artery carries oxygenated blood from hear to other organs
similarly pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood from lungs to heart while normal vein carries deoxygenated blood from organs to heart
