why punjab farmers are forced to use more and more chemical fertiliser?

Most of the farmers in Punjab are dependent on farming for their livelihood and the soil there is not fertile and lacks in nutrients which leads to less yield of crop production. .. Thus to increase production they are forced to use fertilizers
