why pure acetic acid does not conduct electricity

Thus there are no ions,thus you cant conduct electricity.Dilute acetic acid is in solution with water where it does to small to a small extent disassociate and form ions.Thus u can conduct electricity.

pure acetic acid has fully ionized, but dilute actic acid is incomplete in ionization, so there are ions present, which means charged particles are present and able to conduct electricity.
