When it drop below level nesscary for sustaining aquatic life , it become a significant water quality impairment often refers to low dissolved oxygen . Unlike air which is normally about 21% oxygen , water contain only a tiny fraction of percentage of oxygen

as we know oxygen is present 21%in air but in water it less because as water becomes warmer it can hold less

so during the summer months in the warmer top portion of the lake, the total amount of oxygen may be limited by temperature.
