I am not really sure but I have ordered a watch from amazon and it's written there that the watch is facilitated by quartz movement and that's why that's a very good watch
Also the watch was manufactured in Japan I think Quartz is a brand of Japan
HOPE THIS ANSWER HELPS PLS MARK IT AS BRAINLIEST ANSWER THANK YOU

Every other modern clock that's made nowadays has a quartz crystal-based oscillator inside them. Quartz is piezoelectric which means that it generates a small voltage when pressure is applied on it. The reverse of this is also true, where a voltage applied to the crystal causes it to vibrate at a specific frequency....
The mechanism behind a quartz clock involves the battery sending an electric current to the quartz oscillator, causing it to vibrate at an exact frequency of 32768 times each second. The circuit then counts the vibration and creates electric pulses, i.e.one per second.
This electric pulse is what powers either the gears and motor (in case of an analog clock), or an LCD (digital clocks). The pros of a quartz clock over a regular pendulum clock, is that they don't require winding, have much longer life, and are not affected by gravity like pendulum clocks are. So you can see why quartz clocks are so ubiquitous......
