Why rain drops do not hit the forest floor during rain . why?

it happens because when rain start falling down in the forests there are many big trees and they are very closed to each other there leaves are also very big , it kinds of dense , due to them the rain water do not hit the forest floor during rain.

When rain occurs, due to the big and bushy leave the rain drop can't enter through it and remain on the leaves of tree.
