why rain water has pH less than 7

The rain water has ph less than 7 because it contains carbonic acid which is formed from water reacting with carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere

Because the water that falls from clouds get contact with co2 in atmosphere  not only carbon dioxide many other gases so the ph is less than 7 and known as acidic ph
