why rainbow is curved

Hi :)
A rainbow is caused by refraction as well as reflection... A ray of light undergoes refraction on passing through a curved surface of the raindrop and then undergoes total internal reflection on striking the opposite inner curved surface.. This reflected ray strikes the raindrop at another point and undergoes refraction again and finally reaches the exterior of the raindrop..
There is a slight difference in the formation of a secondary rainbow in that it undergoes 2 refractions and 2 total internal reflections...
I hope it makes sense and feel free to ask any doubts :)
