why Ramsethu bridges stones float on water?

I don't think it floated, ever. I think it is both man-made and natural. However, such stones (mostly of volcanic origin) exist so that can't be completely ruled out. Let's suppose they did use such stones, the combined weight of people passing over them would push the stones into the water. Imagine crossing over such a rickety structure, also note why one never sees such a floating bridge in the modern world, it's impractical.
