The synthetic fibers are those fibers that are made from the raw materials derived from the naturally occurring plant and animal fibers.

Explanation:

  • The rayon is the fiber which is man-made. It can be manufactured by using the cellulose fibers.
  • It is semi synthetic in nature because it is generated by the regenerated cellulose fibers.
  • The cellulose fibers obtained from the wood pulp that is converted into the chemical solidified structure that forms a semi-synthetic fiber.
