Imagination is part of reality. By reality, I mean the world, existence. (I don’t mean the subjective sense of how real something feels.) Each human is part of reality, their consciousness is part of them, and their imagination is part of their consciousness. I agree with the answers under “What is the difference between imagination and thinking?” that imagination is a special kind of thinking.

How I know the difference between reality and imagination is a different question, the one raised by Descartes’ dream argument. And it is not a well-formed question. Correctly, one should ask: How do I know the difference between what I’m currently sense-perceiving, and what I’m imagining? (Descartes is mistaken to imply that his consciousness could exist even if he isn’t conscious of anything but his own consciousness.)

Answer:

Imaginations are although internal images of a human being that are not visible to the senses but the reality is something that is not imagined and is really that is visible to senses. However, our life is persuaded in the direction when the reality and imagination are distinguished by a boundary line
