reflex actions are defensive actions controlled by our hind brain that is medulla oblongata....... they are involuntary too...

•Human body is a large structure in which each and every part of body is connected to brain via nerves....

•As its so large all the messages from nerves, ( particularly messages which are life threatening), can't be sent to brain as it takes a lot of time...

•So some nerves are connected to spinal cord called spinal nerves which are mostly trained to perform reflex actions and are fast in response so that it could be easy to save the human body from life threatening situations...
