why reproduction cannot be concidered as an importnt life process?

Reproduction is a part of life process but it's not necessary because there is no harm caused to the body if the body does not reproduce whereas if any other life process does not take place such as respiration , transportation and so on then the body will not be able to survive.

Reproduction can't be considered as an important life process cause it is physical process and it doesn't matters in life ,such as Respiration, Digestion and others which are very important for survival ....
