Why resistance of a mettalic conductor increase with increase in temperature

Resistance is directly proportional to temperature, length of the conductor amd inversely proportional to the cross section of the conductor.
Now , resistance is directly depends on temperature. so when temperature increases , resistance also increases. when temperature decreases, resistance also decreases.
