-Respiration is considered as exothermic reaction because energy is released in this process. Glucose combines with oxygen present in our cells to form carbon dioxide and water along with energy.Respiration is considered as exothermic reaction because energy is produced during this process....

Respiration is considered as an exothermic reaction because during respiration that is oxidation of food, glucose in the cell is oxidised into carbon di oxide which releases a large amount of heat.
