Why respiration is considered as an exothermic reaction?

As you know Exothermic reaction release heat and energy .

when you breathe out , you noticed that your breathe is warmer.

it means heat has been released from your body .

so... respiration is an exothermic reaction...

Respiration is considered as an exothermic reaction because in respiration oxidation of glucose takes place which produces large amount of heat energy.
