RFID or Radio Frequency IDentification is a chip that’s inserted into our daily use items, such as passports, ID cards and credit cards. The chip emits a radio frequency which can be tracked and identified wirelessly.
While awesome, RFID has a major problem - Safety issue. While, yes, it should be completely safe, hackers have been known to bypass it’s security and steal your valuable information. This can be prevented by putting aluminum foil inside of your wallet.
