- They are guaranteed by the constitution , which is fundamental law of the land.
- They are most essential for the all round development of the individuals.
- It protects the freedom of an individual.
- It is the first condition of democracy.
- It helps us to protect our rights.
- One can directly approach to the supreme Court for the violation of above rights, which itself is a fundamental right.
