Why rna is used for transmission of genetic information?

because Although this is actuallytransmission from individual to individual in multicellular organisms, genetic information is basically transmitted from cell to cell because it is transmitted through germ cells. Replication ofgenetic information occurs prior to cell division. In particular, the DNA molecule is doubled.

RNA is better for transmission of genetic information bcz , it is highly reactive & unstable. It has larger groves whick makes it easier for enzymes to act. While the DNA is more stable and has smaller grooves and it stores information for longer period.
