The speaker choose the second road because it had a better claim than the first road.The second road was less travelled and so grassy and less worn out. It appeared to the poet as if the second road wanted wear .The poet decided to take the first road for some other day although he knew that he may not be able to comeback to take the first road as way leads on to way
