why Rowlatt Act was opposed by people of India

It was opposed by the people because , the act gave the British to imprison protestors in jail without a trial for 2 years . That was not fair in the eyes of Indians. So they opposed. I hope the answer was helpful to you If it was please mark it as brainlist ❤️
