Why rusting of iron commonly observed in places with higher humidity

as places with higher humidity have high moisture content in air , water reacts with iron hence results in rusting

As we know that rusting of iron takes place in presence of air and water so in the places of humidity there is more moisture and air. So, rusting of iron is commonly observed in places with higher humidity
