According to Maxwell's theory when any charged particle  move its losses  energy and thus electon will be accepted towards nucleus thus it fails

Rutherford gives his first model of atom called Nuclear model.

According to his postulates

  • Electrons revolve in a closed circular orbit around the nucleus.

BUT later on a scientist Named Maxwell given an law called MAXWELL THEORY it states that Any accelerated charged particle emits radiation will loses energy.

Hence the accelerated particle is electone and it have charge so it will loses energy

WHEN energy of electrone loses energy then the proton pull the electrone by electrostatic force and when they collide the atom is destroyed..

And he can't get explain line spectrum or DISCRETE SPECTRAM.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU..
