hi friend
here's your answer looking for

the Rutherford Model of atom was revolutionary. this model was given by Rutherford by the experiment of gold foil.

it stated the following points about the atom :-

1). the atom has very small dense positively charged area, that is called as nucleus of atom.

2). every atom have the large empty spaces around its nucleus where, the negatively charged particle used to revolve at very high speed.

but later, his model was proved wrong.
because he was not able to explain about the stability of atom.

as according to the Maxwell's theory, if any object revolve or move in a circular orbit with very high speed then, it must radiate some energy.

and if the electrons will radiate energy then, they soon get collide by the nucleus of an atom by the spiral movement.

but in reality the electrons never collide with the nucleus, because if they collide then the atom will be not stable.
and even we have the stable atoms.
so this was proved wrong.

but in upcoming days, his student Bohr clear this issue.

hope you are satisfied with my answer

Varun22211: Thank you Amay.
AMAYTRIPATHI: ur most welcome varun
Varun22211: You are really a brainliest
AMAYTRIPATHI: thanks for appreciation, but brilliant are all , thing that should notice is how u present it.
