why salt completely dissolve in water? Which property is shown here

because the positive part of water molecules attracts the negative chloride ions and the negative part of water molecules attracts the positive sodium ions.

It's not a concept of dissolve or not . As I know that water has dielectric constant nearly 80. Hence most of inorganic salts are get breakdown into its constituent ions when they put in water.


As a example NaCl get breakdown into Na+and Cl- ion in water . As most of salts are strong electrolyte they get fully ionised in polar solvent like water.


You can use the term dissolve in case of salts,but keep in your mind the term ionised. It helps u a lot.
