1)the scientist choose laika for space mission because they need a living organism for their research that what happens in the space.
2)they didn`t chose the other because they had tested this first bt sending a non-living thing but not living tha`s why.
3)because they have very short time given by soviet to them so that they had to prepare sputnik 2 in 4 weeks.
4)that`s why they were in hurry due to which they were not able to made it properly by which in just 3 or 4 days approx laika dead due to less supply of oxygen and incresing in temp.
