Why seals seems to be puzzling items in indus valley?
Answers
Answer:
Seals are not puzzling. Entirely wrong approaches of decipberers are puzzling. The first wrong approach is regarding the direction of reading. including Dr Asko parpola still believe that it was written from right to left. The reason they show is not convincing. Even a left handist can draw a overlapping line from right to left. A word has few symbols means all the symbols need to be read from right to left . But they take single symbol alone and try to read it as idiograph or pictograph Inspite of their previous conclusion that the writing is syllabic. Is it not funny ?If you take a single symbol how could you decide which is the right side and which is the left side.

All the descendant languages of the Indus valley area are written from left to right. Suppose if the previous Indus people were writing from right to left , would it be possible to change the direction of writing all of a sudden ,from left to right. can any one cite an instance in world history of such a miracle.
