why series arrangements is not used for connecting domestic electrical appliances in a circuit?

if we use series arrangement then appliances can work at their full capacity due to resistance.

series arrangement is not used for connecting domestic electrical appliances because of it's following disadvantage :
➡if one appliance stops working in series arrangement then the whole circuit will break
➡power consumption is more
➡different electrical appliances need current of widely different values to operate properly.this is not possible in series arrangement.
