Hey buddy!!!!

This question is based on pressure and area.

Firstly what is pressure?
~~ PRESSURE IS THE FORCE ACTING ON AN AREA.

Relation between pressure and area

Pressure is inversely proportional to area.

So if area deacreases pressure increases.

A Sharp knife cuts better because it has a lesser area of contact than a blunt knife. so it apply a large pressure on fruits or anything

Hii..
Here is your answer..

_______________________

●Pressure is inversely proportional to area if area increases pressure decrease and if area decrease pressure increases.

=>Sharp edges knife cut better because they have very thin edges and we know that if area of an object is less than presure will be more same will happen here also the edge is thin means the area is less so the force of our hand falls over the object and produce large pressure and this large pressure cut the object easily.

=>We know that ,if area will be less then the pressure Will be large so if we use blunt end of knife then I will have more area as compared to sharp one and hence it will not cut the object easily.
