why sharp knife cut better than a blunt knife.Explain

in a sharp knife the edge has comparatively less surface area than the blunt knife so laws of physics states that when the surface area is less the pressure is more so sharp knife has more pressure and it's easy to cut....hope it helps

The pressure exerted by the knife edge is more than that exerted by the blunt one because the area on which force is exerted with a sharp knife is very small
