Why should a fuse wire with defined rating not be replaced by one with the large rating

 \huge \sf\green{Answer :-} A fuse with defined rating should not be replaced by one with a larger rating because even if there is large flow of current the fuse will continue to allow the current but will not fuse and it will possibly lead to short-circuit or overloading.
