Weedicides (also known as pesticides, herbicides etc.) are chemicals, used to get rid of unwanted plants or weeds. They kill specific weeds or plants, while the crop is not affected.

 

Though considered safe for humans, even very little quantities accumulated in the human body through prolonged and improper usage, like not using face mask while administering weedicide, can result in serious pathological conditions.

 

Indiscriminate usage of weedicides results in accumulation of harmful chemicals in plants, which are then consumed by human beings or animals.
