Why should bio-degradable and non biodegradable wastes discard into seperate dust bins

because bio degradable waste can be easily degraded into the soil bio degradable waste are nothing but plant waste animal waste etc it also can be used as manure whereas non bio degeradable waste such as plastic and so on doesnt degrade quickly it causes pollution
