ANSWER :

Biodegradable materials are brokendown by microorganisms in nature into simple harmless substances. Non-biodegradable materials need a different treatment like heat and temperature and hence these should be discarded in separate bins.

We separate the biodegradable and non-degredable wastes so that all biodegradable waste can be used as fertilizers while all non-degredable wastes should be recycled to make new products and energy saving .
