Central Government should be powerful as the state governments because

1.If states are given more power,This will lead to a lack of central authority which could potentially result in the disintegration of the country

2.Many topics like Defence,Currency and Foreign Affairs need a unified policy in a country,This will not be possible if states had more power,Here a central figure is needed to frame policies
