Why should curd and cour substance not be kept in brass and copper vassel?

when kept in copper or brass vessels,curd(and other acidic food items) reacts with copper and forms toxic compounds which may be unfit for human consumption,and may cause food poisoning.thus it is notadvisable to keep curd and other acidic or sour food items in copper orbrass vessels.

they are not kept in metal containers. Curd and sour substances contain acid.They would react with the surface of metal vessels such as that ofbrass and copper to produce harmful substances. curd and sour things have acid in them. ... So it is advised not to keep sourfoo in copper or brass vessels.
