Considering that India is a country that continues to fight for Kashmir and has been at a constant cold war against Pakistan since its independence, it must have strong allies.
Its evident that China is an ally of Pakistan and is an influential country, India should adjust its ties with that of USA quite often because the recent government of USA has changed. India needs help from super power like USA to back it up on multiple occasions, KIshan Ganga Dam dispute being one of them. As well as USA having 17% weight-age in IMF.
