large scale industry should be kept away from residential area because large scale industry produce a lot of wastage which came pollute the water. and also it release lot of polluted air which can cause different diseases to the people and also due to the noise that the industry make people can not have peacefull environment to live. also their may be chances of explosion or causing fire. so it good to have residential area far from large scale industry
