- Giving arrows means giving the direction of the activity. If we give arrows pointing towards the right, it means, the direction of the activity is towards right (i.e., from left to right).
- Arrow are generally given on vector quantities. For example, force, displacement, etc. can be represented by an arrow for indicating their directions.
- But, we should also remember that mass is a scalar quantity which says that mass does not have any directions. It is just the amount of matter contained in any objects. So, there is no need to represent mass by an arrow. It is a simple scalar quantity only.
