Because news cover a wide spectrum of people and if a reporter gives unbalanced or unreliable information, it can in one way or the other insult, hurt or damage ones reputation and image. also biased information might cause conflicts and disagreements to people and even nations. never underestimate the power of news or information, it can build or kill someone, be careful before you formulate your opinion.
