why should not you bring a table to the computer lab

You will only be here for a short time; the computer rooms and labs will be used by others for many years, so please be courteous.

This policy was instituted due to complaints of rotting garbage, insect infestations, carpet and furniture stains, and damaged equipment due to drink spills. In addition, there are electrical cables running under the floor and a spilled drink leaking through could cause damage or a possible fire.

If your account is suspended you will not be able to login or print in ANY networked undergrad PC lab.

(see the undergrad list of labs ) You may still access your files by following the directions under the Home Directories page during the duration of your account suspension, but you will have to visit the appropriate person to have your account unlocked.

Historical records are kept of all account suspensions.
